“The Reason for Rejoicing”

The second painting in the Four Nights series, FARAA brings a mysterious glow to the heart of darkness.

Fragments of glass — fluorescent yellow, emerald, gold — trace an inner constellation. At the center, a luminous point, like a sun or a moon, attracts the eye: is it a beginning, a memory, a promise?

Painted during a time of struggle and silence, FARAA invites everyone to see their own light within it. The light that persists. The light that, even in the night, gives a reason to rejoice.

Assignment

This painting, adorned with gold and light, conveys a simple truth: it is possible to take children off the streets. This is not a distant dream, it is a reality within reach of the heart—and of courage.

Places of welcome, learning homes, spaces where people are cared for, fed and educated — I saw the beginnings of them, I believed in them, and I still believe in them.

All we need is to come together. Each person's gift, however small, can become a light in a child's darkness.

10% of the proceeds from this work are donated to concrete actions for the children I have supported for almost three years — for their daily needs, while waiting to build something bigger.
