Malika

IMG_4825.JPG

Malika - Queen

Dimensions: 180 cm / 170 cm
Artwork number: UnYk 273
Date of creation: August 2025

Technique: Memory Matter, natural, noble and chameleon pigments,

Stone: 1 blue sapphire.

In the warmth of oranges and the depth of browns, Malika rises.
Her dark fissures tell of ancient wounds carried by women who survived war.

At the heart of these fractures, a blue sapphire shines.
It is a symbol of resilience and dignity.

They have survived, and today they stand as queens.

Not crowned by the world, but by the strength they carry within
and by the light they have shaped through pain.

Vision

From the red earth of Togo, we shape raw bricks by hand. From this soil, we build homes.

Homes for queens and kings the world has forgotten.

Each wall carries memory.
Each brick holds a story of survival.

What was once dust becomes shelter.
What was once broken becomes strength.

Here, dignity is rebuilt.

Here, forgotten lives rise again.
